The only thing that has hosed me excessively as far as crashes or disconnects are: Audio driver crashes, due to damaged cable. (replaced headset. Windows updates happening in the background. (reboot computer, and explicitly check for Windows updates.) Steam updated, and wasn't restarted...

If you have more than one sound source, another mic plugged in, even if its embedded in another device like a webcam, make sure they are all disabled , and your headset mic is set to the primary audio device. A bad cable on a set of headphones I had meant that windows would switch the audio...

In your Arma3 local folder there should be a PDF,  'arma3_keyboard_layout.pdf',  for default bindings. I believe ACE has one too, but you will l have to google that.

Not sure if this is your issue, just some things I noticed on occasion... If you unplug the audio output (i.e. headset, or speakers, or after alt-tab-ing) after launching ARMA, Windows will switch the output to another source, the game or TFAR may reward you with no sound in game. right click...
