How to Revert Arma 3 to Legacy Versions?

Latest Approved ArmA 3 Version: 1.72 (21JUL17)

I have been trying and failing to set my Arma 3 version to 1.72 as instructed. All online guides involving inputting a beta code are coming up fruitless. Any help?
