BLUFOR SUPPLY ROUTES SUSPENDED

(S) With task forces from the 1-506 pushing south towards defensible positions in central Chernarus, all BLUFOR logistical services suffered major disruptions as a result of the NSLA’s assault. Huge swathes of OPFOR territory have been reoccupied by the NSLA, completely isolating several BLUFOR combat outposts. With supply routes in tatters, a push to reclaim ground is urgently needed in order to halt the frenzied NSLA offensive. While some BLUFOR supplies were able to be evacuated from these positions, there remain no obvious routes or methods to resupply encircled BLUFOR positions. Furthermore, a stockpile of NATO supplies have fallen into NSLA hands, including the newly constructed COP at Berezino.

(S) In order to maintain air assault capability and a more secure main command post, 1-506 operations are being immediately retasked to Ravensworth Airbase. Chester Airbase is a complete loss. US security forces were forced to abandon the position during the NSLA's surpre attack, with an overwhelming force assaulting the airbase from its northwest, shortly after the loss of other supporting positions in the region. S-2 considers the northwestern OPFOR force to favour air assault and other highly mobile tactics and, as a result, Chester Airbase stands as a major tactical landmark in the region.
