Operation/Patrol Time & Weather Information:
The time is now 0847 on the 19th of August
The weather is clear & the task forces are conducting a combat patrol through a series of towns and villages.
Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs) & Aviation Advisory Information
The greatest threat to air power is small arms fire and rocket propelled grenades from Infantry, always be cautious of Anti Aircraft equipment and call it up, submit it in your AAR's. Auto-cannons from certain vehicles are a medium risk to air frames.
Theater/Strategic-level News & Intelligence Updates, Activity, and Analysis
Great job Alpha Company you won the fight! BLUFOR has repelled the Dureshi National Armed Forces.
Now we have to put our priorities straight, we're now fighting these terror cells which we know have merged together to form a poorly led militia.
- LoT (Lions of Tigris): Main LoT strongholds have been neutralized; however, remnants persist as decentralized cells operating across the AO. Their overall capability is degraded but not eliminated, maintaining limited capacity for asymmetric attacks and local influence.
- SotH (Sons of the Homeland): A coalition of independent insurgent cells, they were hostile to BLUFOR & DNAF, now unified under former Iraqi General Asad Farid Abadi. Currently not hostile to IGF, currently hostile to LoT, continued observation and reporting of any posture changes are advised.
- IGF (Iraqi Ground Forces): Uniformed Iraqi forces are actively patrolling the AO, conducting partnered security operations and screening for remaining LoT activity.
Priorities,
Maintain a visible, persistent security presence to reassure and protect civilians and local leaders.
Enable and develop IGF and local security forces through partnered patrols, joint checkpoints, and shared situational awareness.
Hunt and interdict remaining enemy elements using integrated ISR, HUMINT, Stalker/EOD, and targeted direct action only when required.
Exploit captured materiel and detainees to dismantle enemy networks.
Local/Tactical-level News & Intelligence Updates, Activity, and Analysis
Recent operations: TF Charlie and TF Alpha recovered key enemy documents and digital media from COP Milton and FOB Ross.
LoT remnants continue to operate as guerrilla elements within the AO, supplemented by abandoned DNAF weapons and equipment.
Special Info/Patrol Objective-Specific Intelligence
Civilians suspected to be cooperative, prioritizing rebuilding.
Civilians can be expected to be armed with light machine guns and RPGs left behind from the DNAF withdrawal, ROE; Do not fire unless fired upon.
