Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs) & Aviation Advisory Information

Low threat to airframes at this time.

Theater/Strategic-level News & Intelligence Updates, Activity, and Analysis

While LoT have been defeated in the AO, friendly forces are still reporting minor contact with enemy remnants. Intelligence indicates ongoing recruitment attempts, both by former LoT facilitators and unaffiliated militant groups.

Sons of the Homeland (“SotH”) have replaced the LoT as a regional influence, and are working alongside the IGF in efforts to stabilize the region.
SotH are considered neutral, and wear civilian-styled clothing.
ROE remains unchanged, do not shoot unless you are shot at, S-2 stresses awareness of SotH units, or armed civilians defending their communities.

Civil affairs teams are also conducting operations such as humanitarian aid, HUMINT, and Stability Ops.

Local IGF forces are demonstrating an improved tactical competence.
1-506th remain, to advise and assist while preparations are made for us to rotate out of Anizay, hopefully within the month.

Local/Tactical-level News & Intelligence Updates, Activity, and Analysis

Three weeks ago, Task Force Alpha previously conducted a combat patrol east of the AO, that we’ll be patrolling this morning. Ground conditions have since changed, but ambushes against presence patrols are still expected.

On the 20th of July, Marines from the 117th MSOT infiltrated OP Cornwall and were engaged by a notable enemy presence. Oil derricks that were destroyed during that operation, have since been reconstructed. Given the level enemy forces previously resisted assault, it may once again be seeing use overtly or covertly by enemy-aligned militias.

Special Info/Patrol Objective-specific Intelligence

IEDs still pose a suspected hazard on well-traveled routes within the AO, such as the chokepoints at the bridges located near OPs Milton and Cornwall.

Operation/Patrol Time & Weather Information:

(This is your) S-2 briefing for 0600 on 10th of September 2025.
The weather is clear and Task Force Charlie is conducting a link-up with IGF forces at Airbase Chuparosa in order to provide support for further taskings.

Intelligence recovered by 5th SFG indicates ongoing recruitment attempts, both by former LoT facilitators and unaffiliated militant groups.

Local/Tactical-level News & Intelligence Updates, Activity, and Analysis

Over the last few days, Alpha Company has been employed on QRF tasking in support of IGF units that are currently engaged in mop-up operations. The area of Anizay in which Task Force Charlie is to patrol today, however, has not been swept by Coalition forces since mid-July. Ground conditions are presently unknown, beyond IGF presence patrols and strongpoints.

During previous engagements in the area, OPFOR were seen utilizing the lowlands east of Chuparosa to approach on foot undetected. Other enemy elements attacked via OP Armadillo in an attempt to gain eyes on the airbase and render it useless. It is likely that an OPFOR attack on Chuparosa will be preceded by an attempt to overrun OP Armadillo.

Special Info/Patrol Objective-specific Intelligence

Enemy forces are likely aware of BLUFOR QRF posture and, in their weakened state, may attempt to rely on predictable patrol routes to stage complex ambushes; IEDs still pose a suspected hazard on well-traveled routes within the AO, such as the chokepoints near OPs Rickets and Rhodes, and have been observed being used as initiators.
