There will be a post in the Command Announcements thread authorizing updates. You should never update any mods for official use until it's authorized by Command Staff.
Believe me, Brawler is happy to fulfill a role in forward observation but the way we do recon isn't exactly what I would call proactive. We find a place to conceal our not exactly small vehicle and only engage enemy if forced into the situation. The few times when we've been in advance of the...
Icy.
I used Nvidia ShadowPlay. Super easy to use and records at a very good quality. I use Adobe Premiere Elements 13 to process the videos and render them at 1080p at 60fps in widescreen for YouTube.
Yeah, they are big files. The raw video of this mission which was about 2 hours was...
Not to mention the capability of taking us out too! I was fortunate enough to get shots on them before they really got moving. We still had the A-10 in the air, but yes the 25mm brought a quick end to those threats.
Small arms, even the 240's don't really even chip the paint of the HIND's...
Finally the entire mission. This is heavily edited to cut the 20+ minutes we spend overwatching the task force looking for contacts.

Just a snippet of this FTX where I'm gunning in Brawler 1 and get to shoot down 2 HIND's with the main gun...It...
To set the frequency:
For standard radio hit CTRL+P which brings up the radio interface (guessing you've done that already)
You have to actually click in the field where the frequency is shown (not very intuitive)
Use the BKSP or DEL key to clear out the frequency that's listed
Type in the new...
I'd definitely go with an i7 processor. Arma relies on the CPU more than the GPU and if you're ever going to record or want to render videos, the higher powered processor will be worth the extra $150 or so.
Also, you didn't include an operating system in your build. Windows 8.1 is the way to...
If you're looking to run Arma...you don't need that beefy of a graphic card. I have a GeForce 760 and an i7 processor take that money and put it into a better CPU....or some peripherals like a better mouse/keyboard/headphones etc.
My basic system is thus:
Intel i7-4770 CPU @ 3.4GHz
8GB DDR3...
You can buy a pretty decent pre-built PC that will run Arma very well for under $1000 not including a monitor. And, even waiting a few months, prices on the current hottest stuff will go down a little bit. I thought about building my own PC but I was willing to spend just a little more for a...
Definitely don't delete all the mods. No need.
As the others have stated, the easiest way to get going is to use a launching program like ArmA Sync. Once you give it the path to the folder on your computer that the Arma.exe is located, it will list your downloaded mods for you and then you...
The video of the entire OP. For some reason there's an extra 90 minutes of blank video at the end. Thank you Adobe Premiere....Because of that there won't be a preview thumbnail until Youtube finishes, "optomizing" the video...I'll update this post on Saturday morning or whenever it's ready...
No Captains were harmed in the making of this video....

Bremerton is a nice area. Close to Seattle and like an hour or a little more drive the Pacific Ocean and a few hours drive up into the mountains. That's one of the things I love about that area. Temperate winters, barely ever stays below freezing for too long. Not going to be a winter like...
Where to in Washington? If I had to move somewhere the Seattle area is where I'd be. I have family out South of Seattle and it's an awesome place to visit.
