1920X1080 Resolution Issues

Good morning,

I have decided to switch back to 1920X1080 and use one screen instead of three.

However, for some unknown reasons, I get this type of distortion...

I even tried to deactive my NVIDIA Surround to be on one screen only but it didn't solve the issue.

It looks like in the 1st picture that the image that would be on the far left screen in a 3 screen display is squashed into the center and the 2nd image does the same with what would normally be on the right screen.  I'm guessing that you have played around with the Nvidia settings....Instead of disabling the Nvidia Surround, I would try changing the display number for your middle display.  Instead of having it 1, 2, 3 from left to right (if that's how you have it now).  I had to do that with my 2 screen system in order for it to work properly.  It's got to be something in the Nvidia or Windows display settings.

Just found a post that lists a simple solution to go between extended view and single monitor view using Windows Key + P.  This turns off the extra displays in windows and uses only your primary screen.  Maybe give that a try?

Also found on an Nvida board to try Ctrl + Alt + R will switch between triple wide and single wide resolutions.
 
Also from the internets...

They all need to be the same resolution, refresh rate and have the same sync polarity. You could try changing the 1920x1080 monitors to 1680x1050 and see how that looks. Found this cruising the web..

"For Surround (2D),  each monitor must display the same resolution - and they will default to the lowest common denominator. Two displays at 1680x1050 and one display at 1920x1200 will all display a 1680x1050 image - stretching that image across the 1920x1200 display. If you utilize different aspect rations (i.e., 2x 1920x1080 and 1x 1920x1200), the image on the "odd display" will either be letterboxed or stretched."
 
I tried uninstalling my graphic card and reinstalling, reverting to older drivers, tried with and without surround and nothing works.

I'll keep it on my 3 screens, it just sucks cuz I can't record that way (on 1080P HD)
 
if you unplug the outlier cards from the graphics card, is the problem still unresolved, with standard reconfiguration options?
Is it only ARMA that exhibits this behavior? If so, do you use a shortcut to launch Arma that has custom launch options?
I don't remember much nvidia junk, with AMD you can set an individual graphics profile for each program or game. Is this the case for you?
Do you use the same control path ( DVI, Dual DVI, HDMI, Display-port) across all monitors?
Are the same make and model?

A screwy thing that happened to me with multiple monitors was that the dual display was messed up because each monitor, under its OSD menu was set to auto-detect the connection type, Both had DVI cables, but one refused to switch resolutions. I had to switch from 'auto-detect' to explicitly setting the connection method, and then it was fine.

I dunno. This is called 'throwing crap at the wall' triage.

Thing is ... It was working fine until the last update from ARMA.

I'll play around or stay on 5760X1080 ... I just need a better card ... I am still using a 660 TI ... Thank God I have a great CPU and 16G Ram.
