Hello, Public Server group...Any chance of getting an updated version of the Mortars to be able to use in game, Please!

At this stage, no, it is still classed as a work in progress and is only to be used in our inner unit modpack. Once we release it on the steam workshop (if we do) then it will be made available in the Public Modpack

the old Mortar system IE the one where you have to carry the base plate and tube are in the Public mod pack but as you can guess it will take two people to carry it and utilize it along with the extra round being carried but if you're using a truck or other ground vic you could always load it up with the extra stuff you need. that is one way I and TSgt Keys made it work.
 
The best logical way is to buy a mortar using liberation build system and an AI and if you need to take it with you just put it in a vehicle and set it up on the map and assign the AI to the mortar.  As long as you are on the server they won't be despawned outside of the FOB AoE.
