Arma 3 Target Dimentions

Hi.  I am currently trying to find some information on target dimentions of as many enemy targets as possable within arma 3.    The reson for this is that i have been thinking about maybe applying for a scout/sniper role within the unit.    I know distance can be auto calculated using the ingame gear but i would like to know how to calculate these information as i have done some missions as a solo forward spotter in the past and to do this u must know the height of the target your ranging for the formula to work. Is there any info or webpage that will display the accurate dimentions of enemy targets, door height or simular information.

Well if you want to quickly calculate distance, the next best alternative next to ranging with vectors is the use an ACOG sight. The horizontal lines that mark ranges can be placed on a enemy infantry's chest, for example if you place the horizontal line marking 400 meters on the enemies chest, and both his shoulders are within the line, he is roughly 400 meters away. As for actual calculations and math, I haven't seen ACE venture out that far like they did within ArmA 2.

Also scouts/snipers will NEVER happen within this unit, guaranteed. The closes thing to "snipers" is use of the DMR within a platoon which is at the platoon HQ's discretion.
 
As the LT said, there isn't much in terms of specific target dimensions. I'd say all Arma 3 character models are between 71-74" in height and approximately the same build.

Ranging targets anywhere from 400-1200m is as easy as getting the range with your Vectors, adjusting the zeroing of your optic or adjusting your aim with an ACOG, and taking a few spaced out shots to determine where you're hitting until you're on target. As far as anything outside of 600m, you really shouldn't even bother engaging.

As for being a scout/sniper, again as the LT said, the closest we have is a Designated Marksman. A DM holds the billet of a Rifleman in an infantry squad and only employs the DMR on the command of the Platoon HQ. Platoon HQ can select any of the 6 Riflemen in a Platoon to use the DMR, but usually select one and that Rifleman only uses the DMR when HQ deems it necessary. If HQ determines that a DMR is not necessary for the duration of the mission, then the Rifleman will fulfill his/her normal duties within the squad.
 
Yeah i remembered a few minutes after posting that sniper isent a thing in this unit just dident edit it out. But i will probadly go on solo missions that i set up for myself or with some friends.    Just thought that some veterans of the game maybe know some info or stats i could use.  I have the formulas to the calculations i just needed some dimentions stats on vehicles/objects.      Its probadly out there on the web somewhere or i could use the harder way and try measure it up close with some rangefinder tricks.
A sniper should have a rangecard for the area he is deployed in.
