Duplicate Mods?

Just trying to make sure I understand. If I already have a mod such as RHS downloaded into my computer from Steam but it is not actively being used (i.e. loaded) but also have 506th version of RHS loaded, will I incur an error message or some other issues with both being present in a file?

It is very possible they might clash, if i were you delete every mod you have from steam and just do a fresh download of the mods directly from here.

In my experience you shouldn't even have to re-download our mods - simply uninstalling the Steam mod resolved the conflicts for me when I've experienced this in the past.

The 506th mods are placed in the root of Arma 3 while Workshop mods are placed in the 'hidden' Workshop folder - they shouldn't conflict. Also, loading the right one will solve this (unless you load both mods).

Sgt. Lyon, Spc. Smith and Spc. Price thank you for the quick replies. In the case of RHS mods I had (recently removed) all four of the Steam versions and had also loaded the 506th versions as required for induction into the unit.  I was under the impression that both versions of those mods were similar enough for there to be a conflict causing an error message. No I made sure not to load both version at the same time. Just 506th approved/required 506th versions.

My goal is to keep 506th mods in a separate folder for official unit use only and have all other mods in another separate folder for casual play.
