RPLA forces on the run.

Dateline - March 8, 2015 IGT - Bolshevik, Podagorsk

Following the recent developments in Podagorsk, there are rumours of a RPLA withdrawal from the South of the country to the hills in the North in preparation for a guerilla campaign against the US forces in the area. Although the RPLA forces have been successful from time to time, the conflict on a whole is decisively being won by the US forces, supported by British and French assets. Therefore in an apparent strategical move to prolong the conflict, the RPLA have made steps to ensure that their presence is still felt by US forces even though the majority of the nation has now been liberated.

Damaged buildings in Zirnitra.

General Zhutov Olegovich has apparently given the order for units to flee to neighboring Chernarus. He is said to have told his troops to "burn Pordagorsk to the ground", leaving militia fighters and insurgents scattered to inflict casualties as the Americans advance into the hill country. The scorched earth policy of the RPLA does not appear to be economically driven, but inspired by something more sinister, a desire to commit murder and destruction on a mass scale.

RPLA brutality seen throughout the nation.

The RPLA are known for their brutality, yet recently this violence has intensified and there appears to be a link between American successes and the recent scoarched earth statement. In the last few weeks, US forces have not only liberated the Capitol of Zirnitra, but US forces have also violently pushed the RPLA out of Berezniki. Furthermore, platoon of US infantry captured a RPLA Major while liberating Zirnitra, while another platoon captured the highest ranking officer thus far, an unidentified Colonel. With 12 US personnel still in captivity, will these two captured officers be a bargaining chip to ensure a safe return to the captured US soldiers?

"burn Pordagorsk to the ground"

So much for "their sacred land". Oh well, they will die in the hills just as well as they did in the cities.
