Headset with Mic

Heya guys. Just wondering all of your thoughts on a replacement headset. Mine is getting worn out (razor kraken 7.1) and ill soon be looking for a replacement.

Any good suggestions on what i should get? Price range is $80 maximum. And of course if you wanna donate one I'll totally not say no lol.
 
You wanna buy my Mic? Antlion Modmic. I'm sure you know what my videos sound like so you know the sound quality is good. I got a new mic that doesn't attach to my headset cause I wanted to try just a headset without a mic attached.

Best thing I can suggest is get a good quality headset that isn't under the "gaming" category and get a separate mic

I'll second this. Using Audio Technica m50x with that mic. Good combo.
 
I have the HyperX Cloud II and no complaints, very good headset . Going for $85 on amazon at the moment

Hyperx Cloud II are the ones I also use, very reliable and comfortable headset longest lasting pair I've used.
 
I use the Plantronics e-sports version of their HD 500 series, they have many versions, starting under your price range. I actually picked up the esports version for less than your budget, over the holidays last year. I have been using surround headphones for a long time and I find the positional audio invaluable in games. however it is not a requirement generally, and you can do it synthetically using SRS drivers with regular stereo headphones. So look at the cheaper regular stereo versions. They are  great for long term wear, if you do pick them up go for the non pleather cloth ear muffs.

i use the g933's and i love them. very conferrable and sounds great. great surround sound. the wireless is 170$ and its pricey but its well worth it in my opinion.

The great thing about getting non gaming headphones is that you can use it for other purposes than just the PC. 
 
Logitech g430 is by far the best for the price. Its 7.1 and has a decent mic, its very comfortable its its over instead of on ear (razer headset) and plus its 60 bucks. I had it for 3 years before i got my current corsair void which is true 7.1 while i believe logitechs g430 is simulated which they sound pretty much identical other than for the lack of some bass and mids withe simulated but hardly noticed. The corsair void would be a close second for its nice look, quality, 7.1 true surround, and RGB Leds of course but it cost more. Thatd what i got for you good luck my man.
 
Speak to SGT Shundo about a new mic setup. I wouldn't waste your money on a gaming headset cause they're usually overpriced and low quality. SGT Shundo has a nice pair of headphones with an external mic that clips on to either side of the headphones. That'll most likely last you a long time.
