Sennheiser GAME ZERO Gaming Headset

That's what I use.  They're pretty fantastic and the mic sounds great.

Before I decided to break down and drop bank on a good headset I went through 2x

Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound, Wireless Headphones with Microphone

They were ok but kind of fragile.  I take my laptop and headsets back and forth to work and home so I put the miles on them.

Simple Logitech H390 (wired) USB Headset. I also use it as a home-office headset so I preferred something more light-weight than typical gaming headsets. Nothing fancy or expensive ($40USD); but it does the trick.

That's what I use.  They're pretty fantastic and the mic sounds great.

Same here but factor in an external USB DAC or a sound card with enough juice to push them to get everything you can out of them as they're high impedance. When properly equipped, it's an excellent bit of kit.
