Making custom signs in Zeus?

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to make a series of custom signs for a GPS-less Land Nav squad training.  So far the only stuff I see involves creating them in the Editor then adding them to a Template.

Is there really no easy way to add some custom text markers/signposts into the mission through Zeus?
