mouse button mapping

I just got a Logitech g602 mouse.  Just curious what you guys with more than 5 buttons on your mice have them set up to do?  I think it will be a useful to have more buttons, but not sure how to map them for Arma.  Thanks for your feedback in advance.
 
1 thumb button for push-to-talk, 1 for my radio
middle mouse button for additional radio
1 index finger button for compass, 1 for sprinting, 1 for 3rd/1st person, 1 for ace interact and self ace interact
1 middle finger button for medical menu, 1 for climbing, and 1 for prone/kneel/standing.

If I had to chose five I would do PTT, radio, 1st/3rd person, compass, and medical menu, with middle mouse still being transmit SW Additional
 
I have 9 buttons on the side of my mouse that I actively use. Some ideas for you.

#1: Voice talk w/o radio
#2: Short range radio primary channel
#3: Short range radio alt channel
#4: Control button : think of all the things that require you to press control + another key. now not a contortionist with your hand
#5: Switch between optics (e.g. looking through optic vs red dot)
#6: Point
#7: Long Range Transmit primary
#8: Switch between 1st and 3rd person
#9: Switch between jog and walk
 
I use a Corsair Scimitar Pro mouse with 12 thumb buttons. I divided the side buttons into 3 categories, weapon functions, movement & view, and equipment. I also have sub functions mapped to all of the buttons under CTRL and Alt modifiers.

Weapon functions:
- Toggle flashlight or laser on and off/ Toggle between flashlight and laser
- Firemode selector/ Weapon safety
- Switch to sidearm/ Open and close AT4 peephole
- Weapon zero up and down

Movement & view:
- Combat pace/ Lower and raise weapon
- Sniper mode (lowers my DPI while it's pressed)
- Toggle 1st and 3rd person view
- Disable controls for notepad and nine liners mod

Equipment:
- Primary net short range/ Primary net long range
- Alt net short range/ Alt net long range
- Push to hear/ voice volume
- MicroDAGR on and off/ MicroDAGR zoom controls
- MicroDAGR large version
- NVGs on and off/ NVG brightness controls

I also have some stuff mapped on the buttons on top of my mouse:
- Switch optics mode (scope/red dot)
- Zoom in and out
- Point
- ACE Advanced Throw
- Cycle non-lethal and lethal grenades
- Compass
- Wind indicator

My setup basically allows me to do everything I need without ever taking my fingers off my movement keys or my hand off my mouse. The idea is that my left hand on the keyboard does everything movement related that my body would do in real life, like walk, jog, stances etc. and my right hand on the mouse does everything my hands would do.
 
I personally use a ROCCAT Nyth at both Work and Home, to me its a nice fit in the hand and is really modular

I have my buttons setup like this;
  • 1 - LR Transmit
  • 3 - Push-to-Talk
  • 9 - SR Transmit
  • 11 - Zoom In
  • 12 - Zoom Out

The mouse itself comes with a extra kit so you can add and remove buttons as you please, so in theory, you could have upto 12 single buttons
