Mute Sign

Could it possibly be that push to hear mod we added to the mod pack?  I haven't tested it or used it yet but that sounds like it might be whats up.  The keybinds for it should be under the configure add-ons section in the controls option.  Maybe give that a check?
 
That would be your "push to hear". I think by default it is bound to your right alt or right ctrl key. Basically it lowers the in game volume so that you can hear teamspeak better.
