For those who have not seen the notification in your Arma launcher's notification area, Bohemia Interactive have announced the next DLC

So is this basically Paid mods? I understand that they said they will not take previously free items and make them paid but if I were a mod Dev I would scrap anything in the works for a mod and switch to this paid model.

It is also including 10 single player missions and 17 multiplayer missions, which usually include a voiced over storyline.

I would hope not considering we already require Apex, if the next deployment requires assets from this new upcoming DLC the minimum requirement to join the unit would be more than 100 bucks!
 
As of right now, this provides nothing that will benefit us overall as a unit to the point that it justifies the price tag. It absolutely will not be a requirement to purchase to join the unit.

I’m not saying right away but In time when the price tag comes down or more members have it it could be used as a deployment potential.
