The time is (in game time) on the 12th of March, the weather is (look up) and we are in the Jamdy Isles in the arctic. The temperature is FREEZING with no precipitation.
Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs) & Aviation Advisory Information
A battalion of heavily-outfitted, Russian-speaking militia has seized control of the island's only improved airstrip (AIRBASE MANTICORE). While SEAL Team 4 and ODA 5221 recently neutralized air defense and artillery batteries on the northwest portion of the airbase, the area remains contested by near-peer equipped forces. There is also a potential MANPADS threat, as of yet unconfirmed.

Suspected hybrid warfare activity has successfully toppled the civilian leadership in the Jamdy Archipelago. Local security forces have been dissolved, and civilians resisting the takeover have been detained or killed by illegal formations.

- Jamdy National Restoration Council (JNRC) & JPR: The JNRC is an entity that has dismantled the previous local administration. They’ve stood up an armed militia known as the JPR (Jamdy People's Republic) to enforce civil law. They are utilizing Information Operations and perception management to portray their actions as a legitimate movement.
- State-Actor Involvement: The appearance of well-organized, Russian-speaking militias equipped with large volumes of military equipment suggest a state actor is propping up the new regime. Evidenced by the disruption of cellular & fiber optic telecommunications, and the targeted seizures of mining & power facilities.
- Implement Rules of Engagement (ROE).
- Pursue counter-propaganda objectives to fix enemy information operations, & keep the initiative in the battlespace.
- Search for intelligence opportunities.
- Recent Operations: On 08MAR26, SEAL Team 4 and ODA 5221 successfully raided AIRBASE MANTICORE paving the way for friendly reinforcements and resupply. As of 12MAR26, Operation Frostline has been greenlit.
- AO Stability: Stability in the local Area of Operations is considered non-existent. Law is being enforced arbitrarily in different quarters, there is no known active party with a legally recognized claim to authority.
- AGS Power Plant: A localized worker revolt and strike has occurred at the Arktisk Grid Solutions (AGS) AS Power Plant. Workers and several board members are believed to be trapped, taken hostage, or barricaded inside by violent strikers carrying small arms.
- Allegiance & Identification: There is no clear division between civilian or military participation, and enemy combatants generally do not wear flags, unit insignia, or uniforms. At least some of the actors involved are suspected of foreign entanglement, and display features associated with deceptions or front groups.
- Hostile Tactics: Enemy forces have demonstrated a willingness to use hostages as shields to steer narratives and battles. Their proximity to innocents and key infrastructure heavily limits kinetic response options.
- Yuri Bakholdin (HVI): Director of the local AGS plant's board and suspected instigator of the worker revolt. NOT a military target. He is wanted by S-2 for priority interrogation and is known to reside at the villas south of the power plant.
- Carl Ågren (HVI): AGS board member leading the opposition to Bakholdin; he refuses to legitimize the worker strike. He is either held hostage or barricaded and hiding in the plant, along with several other board members. He is likely in immediate danger of harm or arrest by rioting workers and JPR forces.
- Priority Intel Requirements (PIR): S-2 is actively seeking any actionable information regarding:
- The identities and locations of other worker leadership involved in the AGS plant strike.
- The identity, command structure, and leadership of the JPR militia.
- The exact whereabouts of Lieutenant Governor Oygaard, who was detained on 07MAR26 and is believed to be held in unlawful custody at an unknown location.
