Operation Frostline Phase 05-26
Task Force Alpha
S-2 Intelligence Brief // 17MAY2026
//SECRET//
Operation/Patrol Time & Weather Information
S-2 brief for 25th of March 2026, 0600 hrs. Conditions are 20F. Snowfall is ongoing, and visibility is significantly reduced.
Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs) & Aviation Advisory Information
AA threat remains unchanged--self-propelled triple A systems are present in the AO, and MANPADS are confirmed to have been deployed.
Fog may reduce FLIR capability and limit operating altitudes for effective CAS or ISR.
Theater/Strategic-level News & Intelligence Updates, Activity, and Analysis
Enemy forces are likely exploiting reduced visibility as a window of opportunity to reposition or reorganize their assets. We will have to wait until the weather breaks to regain the full range of traditional ISR, and they are suspected to be fully aware of that.
Local/Tactical-level News & Intelligence Updates, Activity, and Analysis
Alpha Company have successfully seized Airbase Worsley and rescued Stalker from the clutches of an enemy ambush. During the mop-up of the airbase, enemy forces conducted a bold infiltration past several Marine fighting positions and seized the Reserve compound. Third platoon subsequently mounted a counter-attack, and actions to retake it are ongoing.
Special Info/Patrol Objective-Specific Intelligence
A friendly UAS system was downed by enemy AA fire and fortunately crashed somewhere in the center-east portion of First Platoon's AO. There is a substantial likelihood that enemy forces are either on their way to, or already at the site.
Additionally, S-2 has identified the remains of an early modern star fort outside the town of Woodford. Though it is an outdated fortification, there is a significant likelihood that the position has been re-militarized by threat forces. Approach should be considered carefully due to the height of the walls and the threat angles presented by the fort's shape.
